Road to Resilience: Week 2

  • Maine Center for Acupuncture 975 Broadway South Portland, ME 04106 United States of America (map)

Our second workshop in this series will focus on Joy.

We'll play with the idea of balance. We'll explore physical balance through some simple exercises, and the idea of balance, which implies a tension between two states (in this case, joy and sorrow).

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Injury, illness, and grief are part of the human condition, and yet no one teaches us how to manage the often wide-reaching fallout that can affect your health, your social life, your finances, and your emotions.

In this recurring workshop, you’ll begin to create your personal roadmap through adversity. Together, we’ll explore how to build your own map and schedule tiny tune-ups that will bring resilience into your life, and give you back a sense of control.

This round of workshops will take place over four Monday evenings, February 10 through March 2, 2020. Come to one session, or attend all four. Workshops will run from 7:00 - 8:00pm at the Maine Center for Acupuncture, 975 Broadway, South Portland. There is plenty of parking.

Students should wear comfortable clothing. Materials will be provided. Limited to 7 participants. Cost is $20 per session.

Space is limited, so please email me to reserve your spot.

(You can also try to sign up through the Maine Center for Acupuncture scheduling portal, but they’re still working out the kinks; if you go that route, click on One-on-One Healing Treatments, “Road to Resilience,” then select and sign up for each Monday you would like to attend.)
